Shawn Gee is the President of Live Nation Urban. He is also a Principal and Partner in Maverick management, a management company that falls under Live Nation’s “ArtistNation” umbrella. In his role, Shawn has a diverse slate of responsibilities; he is the lead manager for acclaimed artists such as The Roots and Jill Scott, he also is part of the executive team that manages Nicki Minaj, Lil Wayne, and T.I., overseeing all touring and live event activities for these artists. He is the creator and Executive Producer for several music festivals such as Philly Fourth of July Jam, the Roots Picnic, Summer Block Party, Holiday Jam, and Birmingham’s City Fest.
