Dara McIntosh
PRESIDENT OF BLUEPRINT GROUP
From behind-the-scenes, Dara McIntosh maintains the consistent forward motion and momentum of powerhouse management collective The Blueprint Group in the role of Operations Manager.
Acting as a gatekeeper to the visionary executives comprising BPG, she has proven integral to the sustained success of not only the company partners and employees, but also the myriad of artists it represents, spanning Lil Wayne, Nicki Minaj, G-Eazy, and many more. As the central liaison for a total staff of nine located across three bi-coastal offices, she streamlines systems and infrastructure to accelerate progress for the team and clients alike. Boasting over two decades working with Co-Founder and Co-C.E.O. Gee Roberson and Chief Marketing Officer and Partner Al Branch, she facilitates continued company success as the intermediary between BPG and record labels, agencies, brands, and beyond.
“The company moves so seamlessly because we’re a family,” she exclaims. “This business is based on a lot of mutual respect and love. That’s why everybody pushes so hard, and we do it together. We work as a unit to meet deadlines and exceed goals. My primary goal is to always keep everything on track and the trains on time, so to speak.”
She started doing so in 1996. While attending college, Dara took an internship at Roc-A-Fella Records. By the time she graduated, it transformed into a full-time job as a product manager for the revolutionary label. During this time, she oversaw the launch of Cam’Ron’s classic platinum-certified Come Home With Me and co-managed Memphis Bleek.
Linking up with Roberson, she went on to work alongside him at Atlantic Records, Geffen Records, and more. At the same time, she handled day-to-day duties for his Hip Hop Since 1978 management company. Launched as a partnership between Hip Hop Since 1978 and Cortez Bryant in 2008, The Blueprint Group served as ground zero for seminal albums from Wayne and Nicki as well as previous clients such as Drake, Kanye West, and more. Throughout this time, Dara accelerated operations, remaining one step ahead of the culture on behalf of the company, and fostering its growth.
2018 saw Dara commence managing budding Los Angeles star, Madison Rose. She remains an active participant in the Fan Mail charity, which she co-founded at Roc-A-Fella Records.
She resides in New York and is most importantly a mom.
